Description
The rear top mounts on BMW E36 and E46 chassis’ (including M3 and E85/E86 Z4) are a known failure point, often resulting in the shock punching through the factory part. POWERFLEX developed this billet aluminium and polyurethane replacement, which includes a reinforcement bracket. This solves the problem while also adding support for the shock turret sheet metal. Available in either standard POWERFLEX material or harder ‘Black Series’ material, intended for track use.
Part number 30 on diagram. Priced per pair – one pair required per vehicle. Covered under POWERFLEX’s lifetime warranty. Standard BMW top mounts are 10mm, please check shock absorber size before ordering as some shock absorbers (including JRZ and Tein) use 12mm.
